How do I stop payment on a check?

From your Member Center

  1. Select the checking account you want to stop a payment for.

  2. Click Stop Payment.

  3. Enter the check details, then click Stop Payment.

From the LendingClub App

  1. Select the checking account you want to stop payment for.

  2. Tap More > Stop Payment on a Check.

  3. Enter the check details, then click Stop Payment.

Note: We can’t stop payment on a check that’s in process or that has already been deposited or cashed. The cost to place a stop payment is $25.00.
